Welcome to my page! I’m Victoria Vertuga & I’m a Los Angeles based actress, writer, and model. A California girl born and raised, I attended the University of Southern California (GO TROJANS!!!!) where I graduated Magna Cum Laude (hey, if I can’t brag about it, it’s no fun at all!!!) with a B.S. in Music Industry and minors in Business, Communications, and Theatre.
I’ve always had a great appreciation for the arts and an intense love of the stage. I’m intrigued by the power art has to move people, connect people, and tell wonderful stories. I’ve been writing poetry and songs for as long as I can remember. In high school I began acting and dancing and took every opportunity possible to be on stage. During college I continued studying theatre and was featured in student films, music videos, and commercials. It was also in college when I first began modeling. Whether I’m helping to create a film, a television show, a photograph, or a song, I love telling stories and being part of the creative process. There is no greater joy for me than being muse that allows an artist’s vision to come to life, or more recently, bringing my own visions to life.
I’ve filmed commercials for brands such as Gap, Budweiser, Valley View Casino, Toyota, and many more. I’ve also appeared in the films “The Bubble Zone,” “Awake,” “Cesar and Otto’s Deadly Xmas,” “Bravo & Company,” and “Loss and Found,” which are all currently making their rounds at festivals. You might have seen me on the small screen on the long running Soap Opera “Days of Our Lives” as well as the hit Showtime series “Dexter.” As a model, I’ve been featured in everything from FHM Magazine to pin up calendars to commercial print ads to coffee table books and art galleries across the country and abroad. I love what I do and am so grateful for the opportunity to do it.
Recently, I’ve been branching out into writing and producing with my partner Eric Williford. We recently completed a half hour comedy pilot entitled “Tithes,” and a comedy horror short entitled “We Accept Cash.” One of our other screenplays, an hour long drama pilot entitled “The Other City” is currently a quarter finalist at Austin Film Festival.
Thanks so much for checking out my page! Much love 🙂
